Covid Protocols

  • MCA Daycare is dedicated to constantly evaluate our practices to evolve with the most up-to-date information regarding COVID-19. Our aim is to keep our families and staff as safe and healthy as possible while continuing to provide services to our families in need. Below are just some of the protocols that MCA Daycare is taking to keep our community safe.
  • Within the Center
  • Temperature checks with all staff, children, and parents when coming and leaving MCA Daycare. Prior to arrival, we use the Ap Fever free which screens each child, parent, and staff member with a list of commonly asked covid-19 questions. The app also prompts you to take a temperature then will tell you if you passed or not to be able to proceed to come to Daycare.
  • Consistent cleaning protocols for high use areas within each center
  • Dedicated entrances for staff & children
  • Consistent Communication: Signs posted, fever-free ap and email updates
  • Children’s water bottles/cups/bottles washed every day
  • Removal of all soft toys in the classroom, only hard toys/surfaces will remain in the interim. Any hard toys soiled are removed immediately and put in our bag for sanitation/sterilization of the toy.
  • All sensory bins, play dough, and play slime individualized and contained/labeled per child
  • Children will wash hands as soon as entering the classroom, along with increased handwashing throughout the day
  • Requesting travel information from parents and staff on a weekly basis
  • For a full overview of our COVID 19 procedures please schedule a virtual tour (no in-person tours at this time for the safety of staff and children)
