The first day of fasting will be on Thursday, June 18th. Taraweeh prayer will begin on Wednesday, June 17th after Isha at 11.05pm insha Allah.

The beautiful surah, Surah Yusuf, has lessons for every facet of life. That is why Allah SWT has called this Surah “The Best of Stories” in the Quran (Surah Yusuf, Verse 3).
Please join us for an opportunity to learn the wisdom, teachings and feelings of this beautiful Surah InshaAllah. Share the reward and spread the word to your family and friends in and around Michigan.
Quran Memorization Class
The Quran has even more of an important significance in the month of Ramadan. “ The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion(between right and wrong) [Quran Al-Baqarah 2:185]
Every class will consist of recitation/memorization of half a page.
Ramadan Youth Activities:
Taraweeh Activities for Children
Throughout the month of Ramadan, MCA will provide babysitting services for children less than 5 years of age.
For children between 5 and 12, an array of activities have been prepared including Air hockey/basketball, arts and crafts, and movie rooms.
Taraweeh Activities for Brothers
Throughout the month of Ramadan, brothers 12 and over will have the opportunity to take part in activities located in the MIA basement.
For brothers taking a break from Taraweeh prayers, there will be space to chill, play some games, and socialize with other brothers. Br. Amir (Male Youth Director) will be on-site to provide support and guidance.
Ramadan Qiyam Series – “Who Am I?: The Muslim Identity”
In the spirit of the holy month, we present Qiyam Series every Saturday in the month of Ramadan, from after taraweeh until Fajr.
Join us for blessed nights of tahajjud, informal lectures, time for ibadah and, of course, suhoor! All are welcome.
