About MCA

MCA was founded in 1972 by a group of dedicated Muslims for the specific purpose of practicing, propagating and preserving Islam and Islamic heritage and to serve the needs of Muslims, be they, religious, social, cultural or educational.

The Center is a permanent Waqf for Ahl-u-Sunnah Wal Jama’ah.

Mission

Anchoring Islamic identity through education, community, service, and sustainability. Founded in 1972, MCA is dedicated to practicing, preserving, and promoting Islam while serving the religious, social, cultural, and educational needs of Muslims in Ann Arbor and the greater Washtenaw County area.

Services

Prayer Schedule

MCA offers prayer services five times a day and on Jummah and Eid. Please see MCA Banner/Events for Jummah prayer times and changes.

Education Service

Education is the key to a brighter future for so many vulnerable children across the world. For those in remote areas, it's often a life-line they cannot do without.

Funeral Service

MCA provides Islamic burial services, including pre-burial and Janazah services, for the greater Ann Arbor Muslim community. We assist in securing burial plots at the Islamic Garden in Arborcrest Memorial Park and Mausoleum

Wedding Service

Please contact our Imam for any Pre-Marital Counseling or prior to conducting any Marriage Ceremony inside the Masjid.
