Community Dinners
A distinctive feature of the MCA that celebrates the rich diversity within our community: the hosting of community dinners.
These events showcase the wide array of nationalities among our members, including Palestinian, Syrian, North African, Egyptian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Afghani, Somali, and Turkish communities amongst many others.
Each dinner night is dedicated to representing the culinary traditions, culture, and heritage of a different country, fostering a sense of unity and understanding among our diverse members.
This initiative not only brings our community closer but also enhances cultural appreciation and solidarity.

Sunday School
Providing foundational Islamic knowledge on weekends, catering to young learners with a curriculum that includes Quran memorization, Arabic, and Islamic studies, helping children to connect with their faith from an early age.

Essential for guiding new converts through their spiritual journey, offering a welcoming community and resources to help integrate their faith into daily life.

Islam 101/102
Offers weekly online sessions to educate about the basics of Islam, reaching out to a wide audience interested in learning about the faith.

Halimah Project
Mentoring/Tutoring program created for refugee youth in Washtenaw County
- Collaboration with Univ of MCA
- 15-20 youth participants on-site every week during school year
Taekwondo
Classes not only promote physicall fitness among boys and men but also teach discipline and self-defense within an Islamic framework
