Imam Abdelhamid Algizawi is an experienced spiritual leader with deep knowledge of Islam and Islamic Jurisprudence (Figh).
Imam Algizawi is a scholar with many years of experience in Islamic Studies and Theology.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Languages and Translation from Al-Azhar University. He then obtained a Master’s Degree in Theology from the University of Indiana. Imam Dr. Algizawi has earned his PhD in comparative religious studies (Comparative Figh) from the Islamic University of North America.
Imam Dr. Abdelhamid has authored many articles and booklets. He has also written books and has delivered comprehensive sermons and lectures for several years in the United States.
He focuses on spiritual leadership that consolidates the concept of moderate Islam – an Islam that accepts others and accommodates all. Imam Dr. Abdelhamid believes that common ground and values allow for peaceful coexistence between peoples and communities.
He espouses the idea of collective contribution to better humanity.
Imam Dr. Abdelhamid is currently Imam at The muslim community association of Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor, MI. He is fluent in English and Arabic. His enthusiasm and energy is unmatched. Please feel free to contact Imam Dr. Abdelhamid for guidance and advice including marriage and family counseling.
